How I went from 1K to 4K Instagram followers!

Growing an audience on Instagram can be tricky when you're first starting out. Especially with the changing algorithm! I want to share with you guys some advice on how to skyrocket your Instagram!

Download Preview or Planoly

The app that I use to plan my feed out is Preview. Planning out your feed and content in advance was such a game changer for me! Every picture you post should tell a story (a picture is worth a thousand words) BUT your feed should ALSO tell a story. When someone goes onto your page and is deciding whether or not they will follow you, they are looking at your feed as a whole! So I would recommend downloading Preview or Planoly so that your feed can tell a story and look its best ! (both apps are FREE)

Post Daily on your Instagram Story

Your Instagram story is so important. Stories give you a chance to connect with your audience which is great for your engagement! Get comfortable talking on the camera and post to your stories daily throughout the day (this also makes your page appear at the top of your followers stories list) Instagram is constantly developing there stories feature and adding new functions so play around and get creative! Did you know that you can use hashtags in your stories?? That's right, your stories can get featured in hashtags and you can gain hundreds or even thousands of new story viewers!

Engage with other Accounts

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT! Engage with other accounts in your niche. The easiest way to do this is to go through hashtags that or relevant to you for example #styleblogger or #miamiblogger and likes and leave genuine comments on those pictures! Try and engage with at least 50 accounts a day and you will see how much this works! You'll get a lot more exposure and gain new followers!
